Why is the Contigo SnapSeal Travel Mug a must-have?
There is no comparison. This thing is freaking AH-MAZ-ING. I can toss it in my purse , aka a big ‘ole canvas crossbody sack that my husband hates, without fear of leaking. It tosses and turns, flops and flips without a drip.Â
Just look at my well-loved 16 ouncer – she’s a beaut! A bit worn around the edges but works as good as new.Â
It keeps my liquid life-line hot for hours on end. Turn it upside-down, shake it all about. And nothing. Just a clean sealed travel mug. Yes please!

They fit in most car cup holders. If you happen to have one of the few cars where they don’t, rolling around on the seat next to you won’t matter. Did I mention that these suckers DON’T LEAK!

Are there any downsides?
If I had to knock it down at all, I really don’t think it lives up to the claim of easy one-handed operation.Â
The AutoSeal lid is better for that, but it comes as a cost. I learned the hard way. I tossed an AutoSeal in my big ‘ole purse and ended up with a soaking, coffee-stained mess. See, the AutoSeal button and lock switch is more sensitive than the strong SnapSeal.
As I moved about, something else in my purse pressed up against the button and allowed my precious coffee to leak. Boo. So if you’re like me and need a cup that can take a beating and still remained sealed, stick with the SnapSeal.Â
So, that’s not actually a downside if what you need is a toss it any-which-way mug is what your looking for.
